Smile Shark Injector

So, got the Race version of the Shark Injector from Tuner MS. Installed it just a little bit ago and these are my thoughts on it:

1: Not mind numbing results HOWEVER it is a huge improvement over what I had which was AA headers with BMW software. Long story...

2: Instructions were followed exactly and had ZERO issues installing it.

3: The instructions called for at least a 20amp charger however I used a 15amp and worked fine

4: Took a total of about 30 minutes to finish and my SES light is no longer there (which has been for about 3 months now since BMW put their software on my M). That alone is a nice result from this upgrade.

Overall, the idle is smoother and my start up is no longer "hunting" which is a great feeling. Right away, I noticed a crispness to the throttle response and an overall smoothness to the idle. If I can describe it, it would be like something in between having sport mode off and on. I am pleased. If you don't want to dish out the money on an ESS tune, I would recommend the Shark. I am happy. If you have any questions, let me know.

Dude, he has 116 posts. I'm sure the other 115 clearly demonstrate his superior knowledge of all things BMW. Just take his word for it, the Shark Injector will cause your VANOS to shoot straight through the block, the driver, and the six cars behind you. Let's get a class action started now!!!

legitimate question but, 10 years after the car has come to market basically maxed out from the factory, I doubt one shelf software is significantly better than another powerwise

That's why I ask. Others say the $200-250 difference is worth it; I'm wondering why. Perhaps its because of factors other than pure hp numbers.

Yea, for me I was looking to get rid of the CES light, smooth out the idle, and improve throttle response. The shark did all this. I wasn't looking for HP gains. If there are a couple thrown in for good measure then I am not complaining.
