Default Ordering my Sparco Evo 2 seat tomorrow. What else do I need?

I am just getting the driver side for now. I know I need the base, mount, and sliders, but a few questions. Is there a base or mount that will give me more headroom than stock? What company if so? What will I need to remove airbag light, etc, etc.

TIA

I'm guessing it'll be lower than oem seats, even w/ the whole setup. If its too high, you can always take the sliding mechanism out of the equation. Just gonna take a little longer to get the seat dialed in.. and it'll have to stay that way.

Airbag light.. either pick up an occupancy sensor, or use a resistor.

There should not be any airbag light for the driver side.. that is triggered by the passenger weight sensor.. so no worry there

you will need to make sure your base mount has a mounting point for your OEM seat belt receptical.

And the reason they sit lower is because most people who get seats wear a helmet when they race, and they require that clearance.

depending on your mounts, you can mount it higher based on the available slots

thats good to know it will sit lower than oem. Is this the resistor trick youre talking about?

I went with the Sparco base adapter, sparco slider and evo as well. The evo seat itself will have a set of vertical mounting holes that attach to the side mounts which allow you to further adjust height and angle.

Not trying to thread jack...

Anyone have any pics of just the driver seat being a racing seat? Sparco or other?

I have been debating getting one to get more headroom, but leaving the passenger seat stock since my fiance frequently rides with me and it's my daily driver...I think she would hate having to sit in a racing seat all the time.

Thanks in advance.
