Default Michelin Pilot Sport Tires

How many miles can I expect to get out of these?

It depends on how you use them. From 5k to 20K miles depending on your driving habits.

My sis has the 18" PS on her VW 337. 16000K mile on it. The tires still look like new to me

I actually just got a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires for my rear... they had about 15,250 miles on them and they were really bald (steel cord stuff showing). My front will be at that point some time soon. But then again, doing burnouts and launches will do that to your tires.

So I would guesstimate that one could get about 18-20k miles on them...

Default well.....

I had my rears replaced at 11.5K miles: fronts looked good (maybe another 8K miles) but the rears were bald. I love the tires and think they wear well considering the compound(s) & design. I will continue to do MPS (II) again and again.
PS. I do drive fast on the track from time to time.

How long did those with Continentals last you guys? I'm close to 10K and I think I have about 1/4 to 1/3 left. I can't wait to try out new tires since the Conti's were poorly rated on tirerack.com. I'm not sure whether to go with the Pilots or the Bridgestone S03's. The S03's were awesome on my old car.
