Do your RE RSM's Rattle? Got the ST with RE and do have some noise back there...

Crap, I hope not, I lubed everything up reeeel good...thinking that might help w/any possible noise??? Car is still up in the air and probably will be for sometime (doing a bunch of stuff), so I won't know for a while yet. Fingers crossed!

I've always used Lubro-Moly or Wurth's Copper Anti-Seize Paste. It's the preferred choice.
Coat all sides of it that touch metal well. Only where the bolt goes doesn't need it. Everything else should get a liberal application of this stuff. |

Do I have to remove the plastic black tube that cover the bumstop on the shock which come with the kit or just leave it like that and put the RSM on top and thats it?

Yes...I have/had rattle in the rear with RE rear shock mounts.
It drove me crazy. I then took them off and reused my old OE shock mounts...that lasted a day before the shock mount blew out. So then I reinstalled the RE mount and used an impact gun to tighten it on and a vice on the upper portion of the shaft. The rubber on the mount needs to be mushroomed out to stay quiet. Don't....Don't try to really torque the ST shock to mushroom the rubber mount using the flimsy little upper shock nub. That metal nub will snap right off. Ask me how I know.
