I didn't like the original wipers because they would leave stuff on the windshield above 55 mph. I went to icons and they left spots all over the windshield at any speed, even with the arm bent and insert removed. Thought about going to the rain-x brand wipers but then realized they were made by bosch, so they'd have all the same issues as the icons. Finally got tired of the Icons and went to the dealer yesterday to buy new OEM arms (as I preferred spotting at 55+ to spotting at all speeds and stupidly threw out my stock arms when I went to the icons), but it turns out they no longer sell the stock arms, as they've been superseded by an icon style wiper, specced by BMW, that actually wipes properly at all speeds! The entire time I've owned this car I've been annoyed by the wipers. Finally that hardship is over ![]() Thought I'd pass the word along ![]()

I just installed a set of PIAA blades I got from Truner Motorsports and I am very pleased with them. They have an option to add a "aerodynamic spoiler" to add down force to the blades. They also come with a Rain-X type of wipe that you apply to the windshield along with the blades. I was driving to work today in freezing rain here in Chicago and they are dead quiet and keep the windshield absolutely streak free.
I did experience a bit of interference between the blade and the plastic insert on the factory arm, but it hasn't cause me any operational issues yet. Overall, I'm very pleased since the original blades streaked badly and were very noisy.

only ? I paid $67 for mine, cuz the previous owner used after market and it was sucks. After that, the wiper blade only cost about $7 each, but I dun like this new one tho, I like the old original one on my 04 way better
