Pardon my ignorance, but is part number 61 61 0 037 009 just for the left blade? Tischer catalog mentions left side when I looked it up. I would want two obviously...but want to make sure I got the correct parts.
From Tischer: Electrical - Chassis electrical - Wipers - Front blade Front blade, m3, left 2002 - 2006 It also mentions this for same part number below for the same price: SET OF WIPER BLADES I guess I want the set of wiper blades for $50?

![]() But they're all the same price, so I'm assuming any one of those will get you both wipers?

The part number I listed is for both wipers-- you buy them as a pair

I got a set yesterday from the dealer after Obioban called me all giddy for like 53 bucks after CCA discount. They are sold as a kit and fix my only issue with the Icons which was the imperfect wipe even on a fresh set.
I will reserve judgment until a month from now.

Here is an odd question, does anyone have any idea how much the dealer charges to install the wipers/arms? I received a $50 gift card from the local dealer in the mail yesterday and it says its good for "Service, Installed Parts or BMW accessories". I am trying to figure out a good way to make use of free money.

Obioban, I am confused why you keep posting that OEM wipers don't work at high speeds.
What exactly happens? I've had two E46s, and I've ridden in many on road trips. I drive my car for hours at a time in rain and snow on the highway, I've never once seen this happen, they were always fine.. What am I missing? |

I've had these blades on for a couple of months now (after my icons needed replacing). You still need to remove the tab insert on the arm when you install these. They've been great, no problems.

... Both of my 46 M's have done this. Maybe it's a difference in the way the air flows around the coupe Vs vert? ![]()
