I know the box says to remove the insert, but I actually feel like they work better with it.

Just checking to see what is going on here. I got the monoblade (Icon style) from Tischer last fall. Center of the driver's side didn't make good contact, so I had to bend the arm a bit for more pressure. Still doesn't always make good contact, though. BTW, driver's side is 23", passenger side is 21" (IIRC).

Obioban, are you saying BMW has changed these again and that they don't separate from the windshield? If that is the case, I might have to go for another set for winter use. I like the regular, old style for the summer!

I don't know what the history of these is. I know I was having separation issues with the icons with the arm bent, and have no issues with these, even with my arm restraightened

Remove the plastic clip on the wiper arm.

I do have this problem though, when at rest, the shorter one doesnt touch the window fully at the end.

when it is is motion, it is fine.

You need to bend the wiper arm back into the OE curve it used to have. You've bent yours flat washing the car or changing the blades in the past.

The curvature in the arms is what sits the blade correctly on window.

Please note: I'm talking about the arm of the wiper system. The blade or the cartridge that hold the blade (on older wipers) is not the arm.

Bought a set of oem about two months ago, arms and blades. Not really sure if it was the old or new style. The oems work great. Tried the piaa and some others, all bs.

Thank you!

Thought the smudge it left was normal. It's been pouring down here in SoCal the last few days.
