I do valves for $200. I wouldn't mind coming up to LA to do a couple cars at once ^_^

Dam kaiv, at that price I would consider NOT doing it myself, Ive done it a couple times but as of late time for working on my car is hard to come by.

This is for labor. Shims extra. I've replaced anywhere from 6 to 20 but most cars -from my experience- need 6 to 11 shims. Shims are $3 or $4 a piece.
Depending on your mileage it's also a good idea to replace the valve cover gasket and the spark plug seals. You can also replace the little seals on each of the valve cover bolts although I have never encountered a car that needed those replaced. I can also replace your spark plugs while there (they have to come off anyway) ![]()

Maybe we can buy 1 shim kit for all of us? Let's get this set up Kaiv!

Most time involved in doing the valve adjustment I would assume would be taking everything apart? Maybe if we all came together and took our valve covers off and what not you'll do a "group buy" and just replace the shims. Saving you time. Plus we can all learn how to do it on our own next time
