My point is that I know a good number of young people who are interested and capable of buying a M5, and it wouldn't kill them to offer one halfway exciting color.

I had the option of getting an E60 when I got mine, but didn't for a number of reasons, one of which being the dullsville color lineup.

I'm sure BMW individual accommodates those buyers... Most M5 buyers (not message board posters) are probably in their mid to late 40s on up, with more conservative tastes and are less inclined to complain about the lack of bright color choices... Grays, blacks, dark blues = ideal for that type of car

I'm not denying the target market is old men. My point is that they aren't the sole market, and very few people know about the individual program, or have the patience to try to find a dealer that will do it. It also generally requires people to buy instead of lease, which is an issue for some.

Still can't get over blue calipers on all those colors

I think it will look good in Azurite black, Monte Carlo blue and SilverstoneII

E is right on the money. I bet the number of buyers who want a bright red, blue, or yellow $110k+ M5 are so few that dealers are better off referring them to BMW Individual.. although I'm not sure why anyone would get this car in brown

How is Interlagos "dullsville" compared to Lemans blue on your M5?

And apart from Imola what other exciting colour came on the E39?
