Just worked on the car, 9hr DIY. This will be the last time i work on this car, for some reason bmw just made everything a pita to get to. Stupid and uneccessary in most cases. I did more damage than good, scratched the **** out of my rear fenders with a crow bar, chipped my other rear fender with a ratchet (i did all my installs on my last car, and i am always careful). I would rather pay someone to do installs than to work on this overrated design.

Sorry not hating on the car, im hating on the retards that made the simplest things complicated. Just needed to vent

These came in yesterday

Porter Cable kit with Optimum Polish

Tein Lowering Springs. I know i was gonna get coilovers, i was a firm beliver that springs are a waste of $ and coilovers is the only way to go. However i wanted some other stuff this week so bought springs as a temporary solution.

Installed the springs last night, started at 4pm and finished at 1am. Hardest part was being a noob again with a new platform and getting those rear springs off and new ones in. Anyway the drop is perfect, better than i thought. Slight rake which i love since i kinda hate cars with lower rears than fronts. As for the ride quality, i think its wonderful. Believe it or not it rides better than stock imo, i seriously dont see why anyone would hate on these. Reduced bodyroll, no noise, smooth, and perfect drop. For the street, these springs are great. Again i bought these for a temp. drop, but after driving around with them i dont mind waiting a while for coilovers.

Also got myself a PC, i plan to fully detail my car next week. Hopefully my Dr. Colorchips kit will be here by then so i can get started.

And finally 10mm spacers, i found out the hard way that you cannot use extended bolts made for 15mm spacers. So i have 4sets of spacers (two 10mm and two 15mm), and none of them i can use. I just ordered extended bolts for the 10mm and a set of 5mm spacers for the rear since its more aggressive than i thought.

Heres some pics of the car with the following installed

-Painted reflectors
-Dark side markers
-New headlamps
-225/35/19 (replaced the 245/35/19 up front. Looks much better now that the front tires doesnt have taller side wall than the rears).
-Removed my 35% tint. I will be going for 15% tint all around and 50% windshield tint soon.

now i wish i had coilovers, i'd love to lower the fronts some more to even out the wheel gaps. Slight rake is what im going for, much sportier look imo.

Brand new Umnitza orion v2 came in along with clear sidemarkers and led sidesmarker bulbs just came in. Thanks to a fellow member for hooking me up.

I bought the dark sidemarkers but wasnt completely happy with the results. I thought being so dark they'd blend in, but they look out of place to me. The clear just looks more natural, and if my factory ones weren't so hazed i woulda kept those.

Also the sidemarker leds, for some reason don't fit. They wont pop in completely making me unable to install the sidemarkers??? Im using the stock bulbs for now till i figure out whats wrong.

Nice! Looking forward to more updates in the near future.

I was a big fan of Z33 back when I had my own G35. I was also on Stance's and Volks.
