Default moisture in headlight lens?

Found my drivers side lens dripping with moisture inside. Lens are like new.
Disassembled, wiped out moisture, checked sealing strips, reassembled. No rain or wash and next day full of moisture again?? What's happening?

Lenses arent seating correctly, or there is damage to the gasket in between the lens and housing.

If its not that I would check for a crack in the housing.

Make sure all of the plastic tabs aren't bent in which causes the seal to have a gap and let moisture in. The tab I am mainly talking about is the one on the inside of each headlight. It's a skinny black plastic tab that helps align the headlight lens. I made this mistake once and closed the headlight up with that plastic tab bent in by accident. Saw it let moisture in. Took it apart and realized it was bent in.

If that's not the case, look around your seal to see if there are any cracks. Rubber wears out over time.

Probably corrosion on the rubber seal between the headlight and lens. Check for anything that can cause a leak. crack, bend...even holes. I had a rock chip crack on the driver side corner, and that caused moisture to form.

Thanks for quick responses. Gasket looks like new and I has carefull to wipe it before reassembly. Must have drawn moisture in as it has been humid here and never rained since I cleared it. Hate to disassemble again.

My depo corner has moisture in it but I can't even open it to get it out...it's the one piece that you screw in...any tips? No cracks anywhere?!

It's a gamble with those. Some have cracks in them and let moisture in, some don't. My first set I had fogged up everytime I washed the car. Hated it, so I bought another set and no fogging problems at all. If you don't want to get another set, try putting some seal around the edges/cracks.

Check all of what was mentioned above, once you find your culprit, before you fix it, throw in a anti-moisture pellet bag(like the ones inside shoe boxes) before you put the headlight back together, that should keep it from building moisture again!

I also have this issue on my passenger headlight and it just started happening after I installed my AE's. I have to install my 6000k bulbs and ZKW lenses anyways so Ill be taking them apart and doing s quick inspection.

I had this problem a few weeks back. My problem was the clip as mentioned by m3freak. After I fixed it the next day i had moisture again. . .i turned the headlights on, heated the moisture away and it did not return. I guess i had fixed it on another muggy day and what was trapped fogged up a little. I dont know if this is your problem but give it a try.
