My car came with H&R springs, and I live in LA. The roads aren't pristine around here.

I'm doing some custom, one-off exhaust and header work right now, and upon getting under my M3, I noticed that everything is scuffed, smashed, pounded, rashed, etc...

Oh yes, and half my under body aero panels are missing.

But go ahead and slam it more than that if you'd like

As president of my crew I always tell my boys
"if sparks don't fly, it's too high"
Basically if we place a penny in between your side skirt and the ground and it falls through have fun finding a new crew

Just lowering springs and its scraping? Maybe I should be more grateful towards the city and our local roads in Toronto. Im lowered and I dont scrape anything not even speed bumps. Any pics of your cars ride height?

I would not bother. It is probably not low enough for you.

LA streets are brutal, but skill will get better as you drive more often, especially downtown area.
I was on slammed coils and had seldom issue with scrapping underneath.
The only way you will scrape underneath on a spring is if you cut the springs even shorter.
With that, your spring will be out of place if you put your car up on the lift.

See the big picture, if you're not comfortable with lowering your car even more, you don't have the obligation to accept the invitation.
Especially when performance aspect of the car is not compromisable.
