I heard it's definitely going to be lighter than the e9X which is a massive step in the right direction. If they continue that trend the M3 might be a proper car again in a few generations. The engine on the other hand makes me want to vomit with disgust. V6 with turbos??? Terrible.

I would like to see them make it lighter than the e46 M3 with a superior I6 NA engine to the e46. Kind of like a better CSL. Now that would be a real car.

negative, it's not going to be tri-turbo according to different sources.

According to this month's Roundel, what I posted is the latest and greatest.

You are all wrong!
It will be a popeliger I6 with 3.0 liters based on the N55 from the 335i ..
Pretty boring and embarrassing to assemble for the M-GmbH, an M3 with a simple series machine and with a little chip on chip-tuning ...

I heard the new M3 will be comprised entirely of carbon fiber and powered by a quad turbo, dual supercharged, mid engine v14, with a standard wet direct port nitrous system.

HP/Lbs - 2:1.

He drew attention to the fact that your expressed interest in the next generation M3's weight was odd given the fact that you have the heaviest of the E46 M3 models. What would you think of the pimp that went around voicing his desire to see people cut back on their hiring of hookers? That would be odd; just as your comment about weight was odd.
