Default Looking for Opinions on JRZ RS Suspension Performance on Street & Track E46 M3s

Well after some "soul searching" I am very close to deciding to spend some money on the Moton CS or JRZ RS suspension system for my E46 M3.

I have found quite a bit of info and opinions specifically on the Moton CS (and GC D/A, KW, TCK D/A, AST 42XX/52XX, etc), but very little on the JRZ RS suspension system, at least in recent history (i.e. in 2011). I am trying to do as much of an "apples to apples" comparison that I can while learning more about the JRZ RS system.

I am particularly interested in opinions on the performance (good, bad or ugly) of the JRZ RS system on the street since that will be part of my decision process (my E46 will still see some limited street time by choice, but it is not a DD).

Thanks!

Fantastic dampers, on all the winning prepared level club racing cars. If you are restricted to non-remote res shocks, can't beat JRZ RS.

x2. I've been running the JRZ's for the past two years and have been very happy with them. We are not resticted at all with dampers in NASA GTS and I'm in no hurry at all to swap them out for something else.

Also, great part about the JRZ's is that BimmerWorld (James) have baseline settings for them that are just about dead on for the track. Can be frustrating/expensive messing around and wasting valuable track time trying to get a set of new shocks dialed in.

I installed (RS Pro's) at end of season and only had one DE at Road America. It was my first time there so I can't offer much on-track feedback. I definitely noticed the difference, just no baseline comparisons. However, I don’t trailer my car and made the 3.5 hour drive there and back and they were okay on the street.

you should also throw motion control suspensions in there too. after moton was bought out by AST, lex/jerome started up motion control as a new company. i've got a set coming in next week.

My JRZ's should be in Wednesday, going on a DD. Should have them on the car in a week or two.

jmciver, what boat is in your avatar?
