Default Re: BMW INSURANCE- how much do you pay?

Mine went down when i turned 25, but was pretty low prior because I have a completely clean record.

2002 m3 and 2001 legacy gt-480/6 months. M3 is full coverage 50k/100k and legacy is liability and comprehensive only.

My 2008 gsxr 600 is 38/month and just dropped today!

Being a resident of NYC, I end up paying about $1100 every six months for full coverage from Geico. No tickets (last one was over 36 months ago), I'm not quite "old as dirt" but getting there.

I'm 32 with a good record, have been with Geico for 8 years. My '04 M3 is listed as a "pleasure car", only around 2k miles a year. I daily drive a Nissan Xterra about 8k a year. Both have full coverage and $1000 deductables, the Bimmer is $384 per 6 mos. The Xterra is $310.

Ummm... If you're not at fault and some ret4rd runs into your M3... you're going to eat that same crow. Anyone who has just liability on their car is either an idiot or they don't care if they loose it, aka a winter beater or something like that.

Edit: And actually, if it is your fault, you would likely have a chance of being covered (at least in terms of owing for the damage done to other's property). Jesus. Call your insurance agent unless you have some vastly different kind of auto insurance.

^i'm with this guy, at least put comp coverage on which covers theft, acts of god, glass etc. collision can be a huge ticket portion of the policy especially on a nicer car like the M3 so i can see trying to take that off(although i think its still not a good idea)

M3 for us is about $700/year 100/300/100 $500 ded and $30/day rental
