Default Painting my CF side mirrors, need ideas....

I am looking into painting my CF side mirrors LSB while still leaving some CF exposed. Throw me some ideas.

If I do pick an idea from a member, I'll make sure to provide some kind of award.

For reference,

I would leave the inner portion LSB then paint the M stripes as a transition from red-light blue-indigo to the outer portion being naked CF.

I would paint the whole thing except leave the ///M in carbon. Either that or have large /// stripes starting from the top right hand corner to the bottom middle. If that makes sense lol

Many moons ago when I worked in a body shop and CF parts were just starting to be popular we used to paint them "translucent" style.

Basically this meant that we would purposely aim the sprayer in the air and let the paint fall down onto the part. This wasn't a candy paint mind you, it would be the LSB paint but since it falls onto the part you can see the weave behind the paint. You can't tell from 10' away, but you can when you are up close to it.

You could always do some LSB flames with pin striping...

It would be a cash reward or physical gift.

Not talking about the LSB flames w/pin striping

I would say the exact opposite - paint them LSB and leave a 1cm strip of the CF exposed. My trunk lip is done along the same way.
