you should send him a PM. it is significantly cheaper than going OEM.

If I have a hub failure or other reason to do vanos work, I'll get Turbotoy's hub.

I DID hear a slight noise at about 1k RPM..slight knocking but after a while i just said EFF IT everyone keeps telling me it sounds normal. Good thing i got a valve adjustment.
I'm leaning towards turbotoy's hub.. one thing I'm worried about though is when/if i have to sell my car later on, i would imagine having an OEM hub would be better..

Personally I think turbotoy's solution is superior to OE, or I'd not use it.
I'd not hide the fact that I had it placed in my car, but anyone savvy enough to ask that question should understand your choice when the time comes to sell, and for those not savvy enough to ask I'd not mention it, UNLESS some evidence rises that it is inferior to the stock part. personally doubt this will ever occur. YMMV, but if you question the part and won't stand behind the choice, why would you do it in the first place?

I also believe it is superior. I'm just trying to figure out the pros and cons for each route. I may not question the part and stand by it but a potential buyer may not feel the same way..and imagine what a mechanic doing a PPI that is not familiar with it would say? damn just thinking about selling it is making me sad..

85k. Did my bolts today. All the bolts were tight and the hub was fine! I was happy, because those hubs are EXPENSIVE!

Sounds like it's not a bad idea for me to pull the valve cover while people watch

Mike, we try to keep a master list of people who've had the failure (well on the forum at least). You should add them! (name/year of car/miles when you found the broken hub)
