I was going to say, a little more rear bias probably wouldn't hurt at all. And if it was too much, one can always play around with different pads.

Was about to buy some new OEM ZCP rotors, looking forward to hearing what you have in mind.

I know its an upgrade, thats why downgrade is in quotes.

I just wanted to see if anybody else has done it and how much it affected (for better or worse) the brake bias.

are you tracking the car? Otherwise I highly doubt you will notice any change in bias

Yup. I'll be tracking it. Thats the only reason why I'd like to move away from the zcp setup - I've gone through a set of rotors already and have some pfc 06's waiting for new ones!

Options are
PFC DD - but must get regular non-zcp carrier
Racing Brake Rotors - $$
BBK - even more $$$
Krell's solution ??

Since im not a pro and dont care for looks, bbk is out and I'm looking for the most cost effective option. PFC's seem to be the best performing at a reasonable price.

Lets see what Krell has . I don't need anything until this summer.

I don't like the idea of having limited pad choices to fit the rear PFC rotor...especially if someone already has a set of track pads designed for OEM height rotors.

I think I'll choose ZCPs for the rear in the future.

I just went to the ZCP brakes from regular so I have the old carriers.

They are freshly powercoated black too. Never remounted.

If that's helpful to anyone, let me know.

I'd personally stick with something like centric blanks for rear rotors. Cheap and work just fine, I think i got my last rear set for ~$100 shipped. Aren't ZCP rear rotors identical to non-ZCP?
