That sucks man, but really glad that no one got hurt! If I saw the person that hit me, laughing, I probably wouldn't have been as calm as you.

Glad to hear the E46 M3 was just a cheap fix. I guess if the insurance agency totals the winter car, you should consider getting a beater E36 or E46 M3 to play around with in the winter.

Glad to hear you both are alright!

Yeah he was like chuckling about it... I didnt know what was so funny about it. I guess maybe (now that i read the police report) he told the cop that there was a dead deer on the side of the road and that he was staring at that and wasnt paying attention to the road. He was an oddball.

Thanks Vee. I wish I can get like 9700 for it (the Edmonds value of the same thing my e36 is if it was in perfect condition.) but I doubt it. Ill talk to my underwriters and see if I can talk the adjuster also. I think its harder if you work for the company as you know the ins and outs and you're more likely to cheap the system so the company looks more in depth about every claim, whether it be an accident or a tow bill.

Might wanna consider public transportation for the rest of the week until that black cloud following you around disperses. Geez.

I feel the same way but I am not from any of those cities or the countries they are in, see the two German flags I have in my profile, and location where it says Bavaria, Germany that is where I live about 40 mintues west of Munich.. While I and my family are ethnic Germans I spent time in the usa as a kid and teenager, and no matter what you say most of the drivers in the usa are horrible not to mention the laws.. Passing on the right? or all the drivers sitting in the left lane going the same speed as everybody else in the middle and far right lanes, what is the sense of having 3 or 4 lanes? Driving in Germany is not perfekt but I would take the pepsi challenge in comparison to the US.

That's a bummer, sorry to hear about your bad week. First and foremost, I'm glad to hear that everyone involved wasn't hurt as a result of the accident. If there is an upside to any of this it is that the E36 got damaged instead of the E46. Keep ya head up and good luck with the repair process.

LOL! Don't worry... plenty of Americas also hate the slow drivers in the left lane and are boggled as to why they choose to go slow in it. Passing on the right is an effect of this. Our country has many retards.

I agree here 100%, I am not the best driver out there but sometimes... when someone is doing 60 in a 70 on the far left I can only wait so long....

Funny, the second biggest percentage of idiot drivers I've encountered (both driving here and in the US) were Germans. By far the worst was French drivers (while I was in Portugal).

Of course, driving in Rio is ridiculous.
