Default Looking for a helping hand..

Just curious if anyone local is willing to drop my car off at RRT?

I can't seem to find the issue with this rattling noise that developed a couple weeks ago after a weekend track event. It only happens with the car under load starting at 1.5k rpm and up to 4k rpm.

Things I've replaced/checked,

- Tensioners/Pulley's
- Exhaust, heatshields
- loose nuts/bolts
- Supercharger (No axial/radical play)
- Intercooler piping
- Vanos

Of course, you will be compensated.

Eddie

When you say drop off, what exactly are you looking for? I have my trailer at my house now as I will be using it this weekend to drive my car to an event. I will be picking up my car from RRT this Wed in preparation for that event so I can take your car there on my trailer.

Is that what you were looking for?

Yes, but I was able to drop it off last night so it's at RRT now getting looked at.

Thanks though!

No problem.

So that was your LSB M3 they had up in the air with the ESS S/C kit (I was just at the shop today dropping off something for my car, which is there now too)? They were just finishing up your car, with mine next on the list.

Sure was. Hmm...Did they happen to say what was up with the rattle noise? Do you know what they did?

I haven't heard from them unless they left a VM on my office phone.

Nah.... I didn't hear them say anything in particular nor was I really listening for anything. I was just admiring your S/C kit as I had never seen an ESS kit up close before.

I also pointed out your catch can install (I also have the Stealth catch can) as it is how I wanted mine mounted. I installed my catch can right before I sent my car to the shop, but I did not make a bracket for it.

Okay thanks.

All I did was grab an thin steel L-shaped bracket from Lowes and self tapping screws to mount the CC in the ABS area.
