Cant really tell from the pics. But you should go through the stickys in here. Specially this one.
Try to get all the service records as much as possible from the owner because you are gonna do a lot on your own and its good to know what was covered already. Also check for the smg specific issues and how to diagnose them and similar. What exhausts are those? |

can you post better pics? and as others have stated get PPI, read the stickies and make sure it has a good maintenance history.

No miles are nothing as long as it has been maintained properly. As I said read the stickies and what not. There are plenty of high mileage M's out there. There is even the 100k and 150k mile thread club here on the forum.

These S54's can last 200k+ miles easily if they are well maintained and less than 45k if they are not  Like everyone said, get a PPI at a reputable shop and a well maintained service record and you should be good. Look for things such as sub frame reinforcement and check if the vanos has ever been replaced.  |
