Take into consideration that an example with 100k will soon need major work done, if not already complete, such as Cooling system, Subframe bushings, etc etc...
I'd go with the lower mileage example every time! Unless it was abused.

There's no hard rule. remember than an 06 is also 4 years newer so there is less age related wear but yes i agree maintenance is everything. it can really save you alot in the long run or even short term.
My personal opinion.. the dark grey is just blah.. and smg.. :/
