202 fuel trim limit Bank 1
203 fuel trim limit Bank 2
227 fuel trim, Bank 1
228 fuel trim, Bank 2

should the oxygen sensor be affecting my start characteristics ?
You have an E36 M3 correct? How do you have a lambda sensor?

O2 sensors would not cause any starting issues. You mentioned that you replaced the head, how sure are you the set the VANOS timing correctly?

From the symptoms of long crank before start and you recently did some head work. I'll double check the VANOS first.

i used lambda and o2 sensor interchangeably, i am sure the vanos timing was set right, i have done it on three different occasion with no problems, i could probably redo it all over again, the car runs great when the engine is warm, and no start issues when its warm. i will look into the vanos setting again. thanks for your help
