thanks for that lads,just got the car back tonight,i drove her nice and easy!
only managed to clock up 30 miles though ,the bill for the engine was
£9750 plus 17.5%vat and 7 days labour at £100 per hr,warranty claim!
i had to pay for the clutch and fly wheel but hey it was a full new engine after all eh!!!

Well, congratulations! Glad to hear your back in the saddle...

As for the price, hmmm....how would shoe horning the S62 in the E36 chassis sound? haha

I'm thinking, ditching the S62 engine into the 325. hahahaha, knock the floor pan out to fit the four tail pipes in (Kelleners Sports with X-pipe and racing CAT with SS headers, lol!!) nice, when do I wake up? hahaha
