Default Convertible hardtop removal & storage

Anyone out there have a good experience with a storage solution for their convertible hardtop? I've found an overhead winch and a dolly online. I'm favoring the winch at this point as I could put the top on and take it off myself.

I have the lift frame BNIB (P/N:82710009659) if someone is interesting in this solution.

Yes I already know about the OEM BMW, I have ordered that one from the local stealer... I was dissappointed to find out that Tischer did not carry it. The part numbers for it dont link to the actual parts on their site for this...

Well, if you can cancel the lifting frame I'll sell you the one I have for half the cost, and it's brand new. All you need from them then is the winch.

I like the winch but my garage door, which rolls up overhead, will get in the way. I think.

I cancelled my order because their entire system is JUNK!

See my post about this at...

Post some pics of what lifting frame you have, I might be interested in buying it if its not the current POS that BMW offers today...
