I'm 26 and race indy cars in the Menards Infiniti Pro Series, the support series for the Indy Racing League. The thrill of racing around a track at 190mph+ is just awesome. I hope to move up to the IRL and compete in the Indy 500.

I went to Miami University (OH) and got a degree in Finance. I have 99 m3 vert, pretty much stock. I am upgrading the lighting system next week and look to put new springs and shocks on it soon to give it a more aggressive stance and improved handling.

Here are some pics of the car I race if Interested.

Welcome! When do you think you will move up to IRL?

Thanks! I am doing the full season this year which has 14 races. The IRL just added road courses consisting of a street course in St Petersburg FL, running Indy the same weekend with Formula One, Watkins Glen, and Infineon in Sonoma.

My goal is to be racing the IRL next year. If sponsorship allows it I would like to do at least one IRL race this year though. But you never know because sometimes race deals come together quick, or never at all. Right now I am just focusing on the 14 races this year with the pro series.

I'm 46, married to a beautiful blond since 1984, no kids. I'm a medical lab professional at a local hospital, where I've worked for the last 22 years. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Geography degree. You know Michael Jordan has the same degree and he made millions, I'm still waiting.

I'm into health and fitness and I'm also a diabetic. I've had it for 34 years and I'm in excellent control. I'm a USCF registered road bike racer and also a mountain biker.

Just bought my 1st BMW, an avus blue 95 M3. Absolutely fantastic car! I was a Saab fanatic until 2002 when I sold my 1990 SPG. I bought a 04 WRX last year, but the M3 is much more fun to drive.

Great forum!

Former CAD drafter/Engineering Tech, layed off during dotcom bust in Bay Area while doing communications work. Now SAHD. Wife with three more college degrees makes much more money than I did down in Bakersfield CA(southern california just north of LA) I miss Northern CA more than anything the Bay Area is beautiful and pretty much hate where I live. Of course a lot of the M3's here have hardly seen rain so I guess that's a plus.

Now I pretty much do DIY projects at home and try to keep my girls from killing themselves. Nothing like peeking in my rear view mirror at my youngest girl when I accelerate onto the highway, makes skipping the minivan purchase worth it. I love the M3. There are lots of faster cars for less money, but do they have room for two carseats?

27, mechanical engineer, well actually a project/design engineer, working for the army (DOD).......thinkin about trying out the private industry.

Just a beginner on all this car stuff, but hopefully will learn a lot from you guys and fix my own shiet instead of taking it to the stealer.
My ride is a 99 M3 cosmos black stock, except for a drop in k&n filter.....will do some other mods in due time, but nothing crazy.......

43 year old pathologist living in LA x 5 years providing contracted medical lab testing (human specimens) support to the international pharma industry for pharmaceutical drug development. This is part of the process that leads to FDA approval (or many times not).

Married x 10 years, 1 son 2.5 years old and my daily driver 95 M3 I've had since new when I bought it in December 95 (now only 70K miles). This daily driver is also now my track car and I try to go about 3-4 times per year out here in the regional LA and Central and SoCal area. I also had had a 95 M3 LTW that I used as a dedicated track car for 5 years while still having the 95 M3. Sold the LTW in 2004 to a collector in San Francisco. Also have a Porsche 40th anniversary 911 (last of the 996s) recently purchased when there was a fire sale on these cars. It is a weekend driver and currently a garage queen but should make it to the track after this year.

Love to spend time with my growing family, mountain bike and tinker on my bikes (old steel Fisher rigid, Yeti TiARC hard tail, Titus LocoMoto fully), travel, listen to music, do some of my own maintenance work on the 95M3.

Regards,
Marc
