Default Carbon Black Metallic, why didn't you guys tell me?

I chose the Carbon Black Metallic after finally seeing it at a dealership while home on leave. I couldn't get over the deep BLUE that hides inside the black, that you see under direct sunlight. You guys see that too, right?

I love it.

Where do you think they got the "carbon" part of the name from? In high light conditions, it looks like a nice fresh sheet of carbon paper ... assuming anyone actually remembers the stuff. Anyway, the blue tint is most decidedly the point of the whole effect.

I didn't want to go quite that dark (upkeep hassles), and just about eveyone else I knew was getting CB, so I took a different route, but there is no denying that the color is simply striking.
