Question FEELER: how much can i get for a heavily modded 95' 325is

1995 325is with sports package.
i have checked the blue book prices for the car in stock form. i would like to get an idea of what i might be able to get for the car in modded form.
the car has been driven from san diego to LA 5 days a week, hence 220k of freeway miles on the chassis. but in november 2004 i got an engine from a 328 with 34k miles. also got a low mileage 5 speed getrag transmission for a manual conversion (i have the paper work etc...) all the tests on the new motor showed excellent figures.
NOTE: before the motor and tranny were dropped in, these parts were added...
-
Engine
*95' M3 Head ported with 3 angle valve job.
*Schrick cams
*Titanium valve springs
*Performance retainers
*2.8L Bottom end 34k miles
*New bottem end and head gaskets
*Custom CAI
*OBD1 Intake runners
*New Vanos unit & tensioner
*Euro 3.5" M3 HFM
*Bosch 24lbs. Injectors matched
*Turner chip
*JP/Turners Motorsports headers
*JP Perfomance Custom stainless Exhaust
*Aluminum thermostat housing
*All new belts & hoses
*New oil pan

Transmission & Drivetrain
*Low mileage Getrag 5 speed transmission
*6.5lbs racing flywheel
*240mm racing clutch with Kevlar pucks
*Heavy weight selector rod
*B&M short shifter
*New Slave cylinder
*New Master cylinder
*3.91 differential
*New driveshaft
*New guibo/flexdisc

Interior
*Rare modena interior from a 97' M3 luxary package
*Hamann sport shift knob

Extra notes
to give you an idea of where the car is in terms of performance (not trying to brag) i have raced modded e36 M3's and have pulled on them. i also raced a modded 6spd G35 coupe with intake, NO cats, exhaust and a chip and started to walk on him. one e36 M3 i raced had his car dynoed and made 244 RWHP approx. 285 HP at the crank. we raced from 65mph (3rd gear through 4th) to 125mph i was walking away slowly.

There was a user on here a while back who had a 325 convertible and he had it as fast or faster as our M3's . YOu should talk with him. Only problem is I forgot his name, maybe someone on the board can help you out with that.

His car was blue and he lived in Daytona part time and new jersey as well. I know purple knows who Im talking about. Good luck! Hope that helps

not to be an a___ but that car has no loan value.. you'll need someone with cash, and to that end its not that far off price wise from a 95 M3.. i think 6500 is a stretch.

the car looks clean, why not keep it?

it might not have much of a loan value but it has a motor and tranny that have less than 40k miles on them (i have the paper work) keep in mind how much the parts are worth if i were to "part out" the engine. i have different plans for a project car thats why i'm thinking of selling it.

It could be worth a million in parts, but the problem is no financial institution will loan someone more than NADA book value for a car.

So you severely limit your target market to those that can afford to pay cash for most, if not all, of the car.

You wouldn't be able to get a real "car loan" on that .. you'd need to get a personal loan. A car loan on something with 200k on the clock would be liek 12 percent, or 60 percent down... and they would never go for it from a private seller.

I'd part it.. otherwise its really not worth too much.
