Installation of GSP clutch pedal
Disclaimer : This post is merely meant to document my experience with installing this item and I take no responsibility for any damage that may occur from those attempting to duplicate my experience. Tools required : - 17mm socket (for locknut on GSP pedal) - 10mm socket (for removing clutch rebound stop panel) - 6mm allen key (for bolt on GSP pedal) - Phillips screwdriver (removing kick panel) - Trim removal tool (removing kick panel) - Common slot screwdrivers short and long (removing pin lock and pivot pin) - Needle nose pliers (for removing/installing spring) - Vise grip (for bending) - Flashlight Remove kick panel : - Remove three Phillips screws on left hand side - Remove trim plug on right hand side - Remove trim plug at back by accelerator pedal by turning - Pull down around steering column to release two trim clips - Pull kick panel towards then down to free from dash ![]() - Slide blue lock on OBD connector then push up to free connector - Unplug 2 plugs in green connector - Unplug 1 plug in light - Place kick panel in safe place Remove stock clutch pedal : - Use needle nose pliers to pull spring off pedal ![]() - Use short common slot screwdriver to remove pivot pin by inserting between edge of hole and grey pin and push with significant force while compressing edge of pin ![]() - Use long common slot screwdriver to pry edge of pin lock clip open then use other hand to slide off pin (notice there is an opening on 1 side of the clip) ![]() - Remove both bolts holding clutch actuator/clutch rebound stop panel closest to seat - pivot clutch rebound stop panel out of way - pull clutch pedal towards seat to free end of clutch actuator - slide pedal off pivot pin ![]() Comparison : ![]() Transfer parts, etc. : - Remove spring rubber grommet from stock pedal and transfer to GSP pedal - Remove both sides of pivot pin sleeves from stock pedal and insert into GSP pedal - Remove rubber cover on stock pedal and put on GSP pedal starting from bottom edge - Use vise grips to bend clutch rebound stop panel piece that the stock pedal rested against. This piece will interfere with the GSP bolt used instead of the grey locking pin. Install GSP pedal : - Slide pedal onto pivot pin - Move pedal so that it slips over end of clutch actuator - Insert GSP bolt & locking nut, then tighten completely using allen key on one side and 17mm socket on other - Reattach clutch rebound stop panel to clutch actuator and tighten bolts - Use needle nose pliers to put spring on pedal ![]() Install kick panel : - Attach all 4 previously removed clips - Slide panel in, watching for plastic guide above dead pedal - Install 3 screws, 1 turning trim lock by accelerator and 1 push trim lock Start car, test clutch, go for drive, enjoy!

On his site.
www.gsperformance.com When they were aluminum, Gustave use to include a factory bracket holding the switches, modified (cut) so that you didn't have to bend it as Topspd did in this pic: Also, you have to transfer the little rubber grommet onto the little hole in the new GSP pedal (windex helps). Also, when we get them, ZERO directions. Then again, I've gotten the install to about 15 minutes. The BEE-YAAA-CHHH was the pin the first time in this picture: ![]() This pin comes out in 2 seconds, now that I use a very small needle nose plyer to "pinch" the tabs (and the pivot comes shooting out!).
