I have to say - it would be *stellar* in a convertible. Top down even at 100 degrees would be OK. I usually will put it up at 100 degrees if I have to keep my clothes in decent non-sweaty shape. Any cooling in the seats would avoid this.

That's pretty cool that they have that. How come it looks like it's $1300 for a fan though?
I always envied my friend's M35 because he had heated/cooled seats. I have a sweating condition and the cooled seats were pretty sweet to me. It actually blows cooled air into the seat! It felt like your lower back and butt were wet, but it did the job, and cooled you down. |

I borrowed a friends Lexus LS460 for a week when I was visiting LA last summer. Cooling seats were the "coolest" feature on the car. (By the way, for a sedan, the LS460 is an AMAZING machine.)

Do the ventilated seats from the E60 M5 fit into the e46 M3 and are modifications (such as to the rails) necessary?
